China Sunergys strong research and development capabilities continue to enhance the conversion efficiency of its solar cells. Our research and development team is led by three solar power researchers, each with over 10 years of experience and established credentials in the solar power industry. Our research and development efforts focus on continually enhancing our solar cell conversion efficiency rate, which is a measure of the ability of solar power products to convert sunlight into electricity, Our team also seeks to find new ways to improve our manufacturing processes.
We are currently developing selective emitter cells, an improved version of the p-type solar cells that most solar cell manufacturers produce. Using our experimental manufacturing line, on a trial basis, we have manufactured selective emitter cells with an average conversion efficiency rate of 17.5%
In addition, we are focusing on the development of advanced process technologies for manufacturing new products, such as n-type solar cells, which generally have higher conversion efficiencies than those of p-type solar cells. We also plan to develop passivated emitters and rear cells in the near future. |
